Two Grand Lotto Winners claim P299.897M Jackpot

Last Wednesday, September 12, two Filipino bettors won the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s grand lotto 6/55 jackpot worth Php299, 897, 496.00 for the winning combination 25-52-26-05-49-17.

The price will split for the two bettors as they both got same winning combination. The first winner was a 52-year-old father of three and a jeepney driver from Bataan while the other was from Southern Leyte.

According to Nina Calleja of Inquirer News:

A regular bettor since 1995, the winner based his P80 bet on the birthdates and ages of those in his family, PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said.

“The jeepney driver missed the live telecast of the lotto draw on Wednesday. So he went to the lotto outlet the following morning and learned from there that he won. In the afternoon, he and his wife hurried off to catch a bus from Bataan to Pasay City,” Muego said.

Since January 2012, five had already won the grand lotto jackpot prize. Two bettors split the more than P300 million grand lotto prize last February 23 while one bagged for the P164 million grand lotto prize last July 4.

Everyone wants to win the different categories of PCSO Lotto especially the biggest winning opportunity of 6/55 category. Some thought of buying their own house and lot, invest in some business and help their family and relatives just like the 52-year-old jeepney driver winner from Bataan.

If I asked you from my previous article, “What business would you start with your 1M pesos?” how about with half of Php299, 897, 496.00?
