Pre-loved Items as an Investment – make money off your pre-loved items.

Lately, I’ve been thinking of something that could generate me extra earnings in my pocket. I tried retailing of home-made longanisa from a close friend producer, but I found myself lacking capital to back-up some credits of the customers to the supplier. You could not even force your customers to pay upon delivery of orders because you could lose them as your prospect and someone that could refer you to their relatives, friends and colleagues. Another thing is people may eventually be disinterested in the product, since people tend to eat different dishes in a meal.

I came up with the idea of dealing pre-loved products that I don’t often use or don’t really use. It might not be a long-term business or it may be one, but this could help you generate income that would be your capital for another business idea that interests you and may eventually grow into a permanent small business.

You might not yet identify the opportunity but when you scavenge your things you might look for some stuff that could be useful to other people rather than stocking them up in your place. You might have books, garments, electronic devices, etc. that you don’t make use of and was just stocked somewhere in your place that you think won’t be useful for you. These stuffs could be exploited as an investment for a small business idea in mind.

As Eleanor Roosevelt said, “A thousand-mile journey starts with one step”. Why not try utilizing time on this. Online communities and social networks could help you promote your items. And, the most recent and ongoing evolution relating to online communities are online social network sites.

Online social network sites allows us to: construct a public or semipublic profile within a bounded system; articulate a list of other users with whom they share connection; and view and traverse their list of connections and those made by others within the system. For this purpose, we are all aware of the famous social network facebook, which I think most of us availed for it. Many individuals did selling pre-loved items through facebook. Why not try it; this might be a good catch for you.
